“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time, they just have the heart.”
Saahas has been working towards tackling the immense waste problem across the country. An inevitable contribution to this comes from the persistent efforts of the Saahas volunteers. These self-motivated individuals understand the need to get involved with this cause. We offer a diverse range of volunteering opportunities. Let's get our hands dirty and work towards the betterment of our environment.
Hi, I am Anuj Shah, I work as an AI Engineer in Continental Automotive, Bangalore. The problem of waste is something everyone sees and faces in day to day life and I always wish to contribute to this region. I came to know about Saahas and was quite impressed with what this organization is doing at ground level and the impact was clearly visible.
I signed up for volunteering during the Flower show at Lal Bagh, Bangalore. It was well-organized and all the volunteers had to educate people about the segregation of waste by being stationed near the bins placed in the venue. I further did not get time to contribute more to the cause but it was really good to see and experience how a small act can bring a difference. I always share my experience with people to motivate them to segregate their waste.
I joined Infosys in 2014 and got an opportunity to be involved in the Infosys Samparpan CSR activity club. Under this, I got an opportunity to work with the Saahas team and learned how they were involved in Solid waste management.
We are deeply grateful to Saahas for their efficient services and for being with us on this journey. Also, we should remember that change starts with you and me. Let’s keep our world clean and safe.

It was a great learning experience at Saahas. I was an enthusiast always when it came to sustainability and thanks to Saahas for helping me gain deeper knowledge and learn the pain points of today better. Events conducted are very well organized and the pain points are very well-identified. The details given to the volunteers are on point.
I worked with Rajalakshmi and Swathi both are doing an amazing job and have helped me always when in doubt. Would always love to join back for events. They are an experience in itself.
